Opportunities at the 2025 Conference
The Conference Planning Committee is pleased to announce several incentives specifically designated for the 2025 conference delegates!
AAAE-AJAM Conference Issue
The American Journal of Arts Management will publish a focal issue featuring a selection of AAAE’s conference proceedings. The opportunity is open to all accepted conference presenters regardless of their membership status and geographic location. If you would like to be considered for this special issue, please indicate so on the conference submission form.
Best Student Paper Prize
The prize is open to both graduate, undergraduate students and recent graduates in arts administration and adjacent disciplines.
The recipient of the prize will receive a $500 cash award and will be invited to present online at the Best Student Paper Showcase in the Fall of 2025. The winner is encouraged to present at the next AAAE conference, scheduled to take place 22-25 May 2025 in Pittsburgh. If they elect to do so, AAAE will waive the conference registration fee. While the organizer cannot guarantee funding for travel and accommodation, we will do their best to provide access to scholarship resources. In addition, the winner’s and finalist’s papers will be reviewed for publication by partnering journals.
Best Paper by Arts Administration Educator
Mid-career and established educators with a minimum of six years of teaching experience are invited to elect to be considered for the prize. The prize is open to all accepted conference paper presenters, regardless of their membership status and geographic location. If you would like to be considered for this prize, please indicate so on the conference submission form. The final selection will be made during the conference, following an evaluation rubric devised by the Conference Evaluation Committee.
The winning paper will be announced at the conclusion of the AAAE’s conference in Pittsburgh, and the awardee will receive $250 worth of IntellectBooks books and/or journal subscriptions of their choice.
In addition, the winner and the runner up will be offered publishing opportunities by participating periodicals.
