Goals and Objectives
The Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Entrepreneurship in the Arts aims to provide graduates with a foundation in the arts, marketing skills, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking skills. Our graduates will be culturally aware, creative, innovative, and equipped to succeed either as members of the cultural not-for-profit sector or as artists in their own right.
Designed with the input of 30 leading arts professionals, The Leadership and Entrepreneurship in the Arts program at Daemen University is tailored to students who see themselves as successful creatives: either as self-sustaining artists seeking solo careers within the creative economy or as leaders within the cultural sector. The program is flexible and offers internships with a range of professional arts organizations throughout Buffalo, New York, a city with a thriving visual and performing arts community. The program also offers networking opportunities, study abroad options, and a strong emphasis on the creative enterprise as a basis for study.
