Arts Management Campus Certificate

Arts Management is about performing the behind-the-scenes work required to run arts organizations, accelerate an independent artist career, and stay tuned in to the ever-changing trends in a highly diverse sector.

The Arts Management Certificate can help make you stand out to potential employers and arts institutions that are looking to hire a well-rounded graduate. For students interested in art history, art, music, dance, film, writing, or theater, an Arts Management Certificate demonstrates a broader understanding of the behind-the-scenes workings of nonprofit arts organizations.

Goals and Objectives

In our courses, students learn:
To transform the landscape of the arts world from behind the scenes.
Important skills including budgeting, arts marketing, planning, audience and partnership development, and much more.
How to program to create an impact in a variety of arts and humanities fields.

Course work is shaped around case studies that have you working with arts organizations in real-time to craft action plans they can implement. Case Studies vary with each course, i.e. Marketing, Programming, Fundraising, etc. and gives you the opportunity to build your skillset and portfolio simultaneously.
