Laura Brower-Hagood

With 23 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, and communications, Laura Brower Hagood CFRE currently serves as vice president of development at the National Building Museum. She was previously the Museum’s director of corporate, foundation, and association relations, before receiving the prestigious Robert Bosch Foundation Fellowship in 2014. As part of this program, she was embedded in the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation’s fundraising team in Potsdam, Germany, for six months. Before returning to the National Building Museum in her current role, Laura helped Cultural Vistas, which administers international exchange programs, launch a formal fundraising program, and consulted on major gifts for the Mosaic Theater Company of DC. Laura’s prior fundraising experience includes roles at FINCA and Cultural Tourism DC. She also held public relations and audience development positions at Cultural Tourism DC; the Historical Society of Washington, DC; Biltmore Estate and Gardens in Asheville, NC; and Borders Books and Music near Atlanta, GA.
