Jessica Bathurst

Jessica Bathurst holds an MFA in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College and an MA in Classical and Contemporary Text (Acting concentration) from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Her acting credits include The Krampus (Brooklyn ONE and D3C Productions), Lez Miz (Dixon Place); Romeo and Juliet #OccupyVerona; Any Size Mirror is a Dictator, Nature Fetish, and The Last Dreams of Helene Weigel (or How to Get Rid of the Feminism Once and For All) (Panoply Performance Lab), liberty equality fraternity (UK premiere), Henry VI (Parts 1-3), Richard III, and The Hamlet Project (Shakespeare’s Globe). She is also a regular participant in the monthly readings of Dialogue with Three Chords, a theater company started by Stephen Gracia and Brooklyn College alumnus Michael LoPorto.

At the 2011 On the Verge Festival in Glasgow, she wrote and directed the dystopian sci-fi comedy Bot or Not? and co-created the physical theater exploration of Sex.Violence.Lady Macbeth.

Jessica is also the co-author (with Professor Tobie S. Stein) of Performing Arts Management: A Handbook of Professional Practices.
