The Art of Less: Writing with Purpose

An Interactive Workshop Series

Dates: November  30, December 11 and December 18, 2026 at noon Eastern Time

What if better writing isn’t about finding more words, but discovering which words matter?

Moving beyond traditional approaches to writing instruction, this three-part series explores how the choices we make as writers reflect our values, shape our relationships, and influence our organizations. Inviting participants to reconsider writing as an intentional, values-driven practice.

Throughout the series, participants will engage in interactive exercises, reflection, and conversation, developing both practical writing skills and a more intentional approach to communication.

Instructor: Rachel Parker (AAAE Board Member and Associate Professor of Arts Administration, Southern Utah University)
