The Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship will prepare students with the knowledge and skills to both create and manage their own creative project and businesses.
Goals and Objectives
Students having completed the Graduate Certificate in Arts Entrepreneurship will have the knowledge and skills to both create and manage their own creative practice or business. These graduates will be able to recognize the different business models, choose the appropriate model for their creative practice, promote and fund their business and develop these projects in a strategic and intentional way. This is an interdisciplinary program shared by the College of Arts & Sciences and the College of Business.
Curriculum
Students commplete 15 credits of course work split between the Arts Administration Program (CAS) and the Entrepreneurship Program (COB).
Admissions
This certificate program is available to any student who is fully admitted into an Eastern Michigan University graduate programs.
Grduate admissions requires:
Applicants must have earned a four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution.
A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program
