DESCRIPTION:This webinar will guide arts administration educators through the Fulbright Scholar and Fulbright Specialist Programs\, helping you understand the differences and determine which opportunity best aligns with your goals. Join us to learn from two experienced Fulbright experts on how these prestigious programs can enhance your career and academic work. We welcome AAAE members who have been Fulbright recipients in either track to join the conversational segment of the program. \nJoin us on January 30\, 2025 at 4:00pm EST to hear from Keegan Scott and Amirah Nelson! \nKeegan Scott\nOutreach and Recruitment Officer\nFulbright Scholar Program\nKeegan Scott is an Outreach and Recruitment Officer with the Fulbright U.S. Scholar program. As a Fulbright U.S. Student alumni to Bulgaria (2017-2020) and a former Education USA Turkey intern\, he is passionate about international exchange and education. Keegan holds an MA in Eurasian\, Russian\, and East European studies with a Diplomatic Studies certificate from Georgetown University\, and speaks Bulgarian and Turkish. He is the only American to receive the highest accolade of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science. \nAmirah Nelson \nSenior Outreach Officer \nFulbright Specialist Program \nAmirah Nelson serves as the Senior Outreach Officer for the Fulbright Specialist Program at World Learning\, connecting U.S. academics and professionals with opportunities to share expertise\, gain international experience and develop sustained collaborations with a range of institutions abroad. She has over a decade of experience working with U.S. government-funded international exchange programs\, and started her journey in international education as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant to Indonesia.
